The Polish defence industry towards a new shape
Article Abstract:
Poland hopes to get approval from the Parliament ('Sejm') to implement the proposals contained in the 'Polish Defence Industry Restructuring & Polish Armed Forces Technological Modernisation' study. The government is pushing for two Parliamentary Acts, the first covering the restructuring of the defence industry and technical modernization of the Armed Forces and the second focusing on compensation and industry's roles in connection with the purchase of defence equipment from foreign suppliers.
