Article Abstract:
A new class of infantry small arms that are large-caliber, high-accuracy rifles for the long-range precision engagement of both personnel (heavy sniping) and high-value and dangerous material targets are presented. The .333 Lapua Magnum, 12.7mm rifles and Barrett's payload rifles are some of the heavy sniping and anti-material rifles.

Article Abstract:
The evolution of large-caliber high-accuracy rifles from being weapons that destroyed high-value and dangerous material targets to becoming weapons of choice for long-range anti-personnel sniping is described. The different weapons that made the switch are described.
