Flawed combat system: FCS is too costly, overly complex and potentially dangerous
Article Abstract:
The U.S. Army created the concept of the Future Combat Systems (FCS) family of vehicles to maintain its advantage over potential foes well into the future. There is a growing realization that FCS will not perform some of the most critical functions for which it was created and if fielded in its present design, might lay the ground work for defeat of the U.S Army on a future battlefield.
