Generation to generation: The combat development trust
Article Abstract:
Relevance to contemporary and emerging warfighting requirements is the most significant measure of a military force and new operational and support concepts are designed to maintain this essential relevance. The US Marine Corp's continuing experience with a trio of seabased power projection concepts for combat development, namely seabasing, STOM, and distributed operations, is discussed and a few capabilities that can be included on the combat developer's list are proposed.
