Rolling technology: Enhanced Tornado continues to ride the wind of change
Article Abstract:
The UK Royal Air Force's (RAF's) Panavia Tornado GR.4, which was upgraded by BAE Systems from its original GR.1 incarnation, is continuing to receive a rolling series of refinements. The GR.4 software Package 3 is presently the standard across the operational squadrons and the RAF's Tornado GR.4s are continuing to play vital roles in supporting ground forces in combat theatres and close air support (CAS).

Committee lambasts UK Ministry of Defence over Bowman delivery

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) presented its report' Delivering digital tactical communication through the Bowman CIP programme'. It has condemned the U.K. Ministry of Defence (MoD) to be unable to meet the armed forces requirements in the supply of Bowman Combat Infrastructure Platform (CIP) programme by under assessing the difficulties involved in supplying and maintaining it in the service.
