UK pursues rebalancing of armed forces
Article Abstract:
On 21st July 2004, the United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defense (MoD) displayed their new Defense Command Paper, 'Delivering security on a changing world - future capabilities', which focuses on the rebalancing of their armed forces in order to make them capable of responding to the global challenges that they may have to face. The Defense Command Paper included the details of the planned cuts and the restructuring of the UK armed forces, which were earlier mentioned in December 2003 in the UK government White Paper.
