Article Abstract:
The opinion of the United States presidential candidates, George W. Bush and John Kerry, regarding to the U.S. foreign policy initiatives in a world that, by and large, is still a dangerous neighborhood is discussed. It looks like both the candidates have advocated continuing war on terrorism, staying the course in Iraq and curbing proliferations of weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

Article Abstract:
The extent to which the killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the al Qaeda leader, will influence the bringing of democracy to Iraq by the US and its allies is debatable. What is certain is the importance of putting to an end the use of improvised explosive devices as this is deemed to be the one way of ending the Global War on Terror with the least loss of life.
