Uribe agrees to prisoner swap
Article Abstract:
Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has signed an agreement for a prisoner exchange with the country's largest rebel group, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and would unilaterally release 50 guerrillas. The FARC desperately needs to get back its middle ranking commanders, of whom there are more than 100 prisoners suffering in prison.
