3 Americans Slain in Blast In Gaza Strip
Article Abstract:
A terrorist bomb killed three security personnel accompanying US embassy officials who were scheduled to meet with Palestinian candidates for Fulbright scholarships. One American diplomat was injured after the bomb exploded underneath one of three armored Chevrolet Suburbans in the convoy. The Israeli government's investigation revealed that the bomb had a minimum of 150 lbs. of explosives and was detonated by a cell phone.
