Hurry up and wait: Net access is sluggish
Article Abstract:
Customers are finding slow Internet connections via cable and telephone lines. This is because growing outages, glitches and sluggish connections characterize the service offered by Internet providers. For instance, days-long outages and slow connections were experienced by customers of ExciteAtHome from Seattle, WA, to Hartford, CT. However, such problems do not discourage people from signing up.
