7Up ads land BBDO Bessies

BBDO Canada Inc's 7Up ad, titled 'Tribe,' has been awarded the best English-language TV ad produced in Canada in 1998 during the 36th yearly Bessies Awards presented on May 5, 1999, in Toronto, Canada. The award-winning 7Up ad, which was made for Pepsi-Cola Canada Beverages Ltd, featured an African tribesman in traditional costume drinking 7Up. BBDO Canada's another 7Up ad, titled 'Beach,' also won a Bessies award.
