U.S. President George Bush, reelected to the White House for a second term is expected to maintain his outlandish attitude towards financial deficit. Bush, reelected at a time when the US is suffering from a record shortfall in national saving, a record current account deficit, and outsize government deficits would use the Republican majorities in Congress to make permanent 'temporary' tax cuts on dividends, capital gains and upper-scale margin income tax rates.
