A star's fall from grace: how a savvy American politician lost his way
Article Abstract:
Cisneros' troubles began with misstatements made to the Federal Bureau of Investigation over payments to his one-time mistress, Linda Medlar. Cisneros claimed the payments, made between 1990-1993, were never more than $10,000 a year. When Medlar sued Cisneros in 1994, tapes she made of their conversations became public. Cisneros is heard on the tapes conspiring to keep information from the FBI. Cisneros could face up to 90 years in prison if convicted on charges of conspiracy and of lying to the FBI about an investigation.

A daughter's secrets
Article Abstract:
Monica Lewinsky's e-mails sent to Linda Tripp about her alleged affair with President Clinton have been turned over to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr. Some worry that these taped conversations and e-mails could actually be made up stories of a girl who imagined an affair with the president. Starr is determined to unlock the mystery of what actually happened between the president and Lewinsky.
