At home on the grange
Article Abstract:
The mining major RGC announced in Nov 1998 it will expand its Queensland copper operations. RGC for months had made it clear its non-mineral sands assets are for sale as it tried to merge with rival mineral-sands miner, Westeralian Sands. RGC's shares dropped from its high of $4.35 to a low of $1.35 earlier in 1998 but has bounced back to $2.35. At that price, the company carries a market capitalization of $493 mil, which is short of its forecasted $1.3 bil.
