Bill of fear
Article Abstract:
The revaluation of the renminbi by China would see other Asian currencies as well as the Australian dollar appreciate against the U.S. dollar, which could result in a reduction of profitability of Australia's resource-related companies and domestic income growth. However, the major impact that could happen when China revalues its currency is the destabilising effect on the U.S. financial markets, which could have an adverse economic impact around the world.
