Bombardier seeks cash for new jet project

Bombardier Inc. discussed with Ottawa and the Quebec government about landing financial helps towards the $2-billion cost to launch a mid-sized family of 100-plus-seat jets under consideration. The problem has clearly been recognized in regard to BombardierEs efforts to compete against Brazilian rival Empress Brasileira de Aeronautics AS in the market for airplanes with between 100 and 150 seats.
