New Hampshire allows independent voters to vote in the Democratic presidential primary. The candidates are attempting to woo them with campaign strategies that are positive and productive. Their support is critical for Wesley Clark and Joseph Lieberman, and could help Howard Dean who continues to trail behind John Kerry in public opinion polls.
