CRTC prods cable firms about new TV channels
Article Abstract:
The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications (CRTC) issued a public notice to Canada's 28 class 1 cable firms regarding new rules for distributing four new Canadian channels. These are CTV Inc's Talk TV; ROBTv, a joint venture between The Globe and Mail and WIC Western International Communications Ltd; and Canadian Learning Television and Star TV, which are being introduced by CHUM Ltd.
