No hope give to revive Canada 3000 reports says. However, court appointed monitors, Deloitte and Touche reported that two or three parties are in a position to build much smaller airlines from the scraps of Canada 3000.

Canada 3000 may not make it till Chrismas 2001. Company officials announced that inspite of planned lay-offs and salary cuts, without federal aid the airline may have to close down.
