Canada mulls plan to end lumber war
Article Abstract:
A new proposal that could bring the U.S./Canadian softwood lumber trade war to an end would require the Canadian lumber industry to forfeit about half of the $1.6 billion in tariffs paid to date. The proposal also backs a quota system on the lumber trade.
