More car buyers driven to pay cash for new vehicles
Article Abstract:
More and more people in the US are paying cash for their new automobiles. Statistics kept by CNW Marketing/Research reveal that 8.8% of new car buyers in 1999 paid for their purchases in cash, a substantial increae when compared to the fact that only 3.8% of buyers did so in 1998. The trend, a given for older car buyers who do not relish the thought of being in debt, is expected to increase further in the coming years as younger buyers begin to adopt the practice.
