Conceived in conflict, HBC shouldn't go down quietly

The various arguments concerning the proposal of sale of Hudson's Bay Co. (HBC), Canada's largest owner of the Bay and Zellers department stores, to Target Corp., a discount giant from Minneapolis, is presented. Analysts point out that it would not seem right if HBC, the oldest company in Canada passed into history without a violent takeover fight.
