Costco found to have discriminated against customer

Costco Canada Inc., which is owned by Issaquah, Wash.-based Costco Wholesale Corp., has been found guilty of discriminating against a low-income man by the Quebec Human Rights Commission. Costco, which denied membership in its warehouse club store to the man, allegedly was denied membership because he was receiving social assistance.
