Paul Tellier, who was named Canada's CEO of the year in 1998, for his success in transforming CN into North America's most efficient railway stated that he was leaving 'The Canadian National Railway Co.' which raised a issue that highlighted the value of advance planning for different bad-news scenarios. Crisis management has become a broad priority at many of Canada's largest companies.
