Deutsche Telekom, VoiceStream near deal

Deutsche Telekom's shares dropped by 5% to $52.56 at the New York Stock Exchange after it announced that it will buy VoiceStream Wireless for $50 billion. However, some Deutsche shareholders are concerned that the company may bey paying too much by 3.2 units of its shares and $30 in cash for every VoiceStream share. On the other hand, VoiceStream's share rose by 5% to $153 although it is still very far from Deutsche's $198.19-per- share offer.
