Digital TC channel applications swamp CRTC

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission has been bombarded with applications for digital television channel licenses. Canada, which now has about 1 million homes with digital cable television, expects to have about 3 million homes with digital television in three years.

West Coast set for TV battle as CHUM wins license
