The immigration reforms targeted to tackle the most difficult problem facing the U.S. today, mainly of illegal immigrants are discussed. The Immigration Reform and Control Act were enacted to grant amnesty to all immigrants in the U.S. before 1982 and enforce stricter measures on employers hiring them.

Immigration debate: would tighter border security curb illegal immigration?
Article Abstract:
The authors debate effect of increasing and tightening border security would it be helpful in curbing the influx of illegal immigrants into America. The tightening of cross-borders may curb illegal immigration but it will also affect cross-border trade and economies.
