DreamWorks Still Looking for a Hit in '03
Article Abstract:
Dreamworks is pinning its hopes on the forthcoming release of new director Vadim Perelman's 'House of Sand and Fog' to revive its box office successes. The company's ambition to be a multi-media conglomerate has failed with disappointing results in television production and the need to sell its music division to Universal Music Group. The film company hopes that next year's 'Shrek 2' and the live-action film 'Terminal' with Tom Hanks will also generate better revenues. The animated feature 'Shark Tale' will have the voices of Will Smith and Robert De Niro.
