Dundee launches new funds family

Dundee Bancorp Inc. of Toronto has unveiled a new family of funds called Power funds. Power funds, which are set to supplement the value-oriented Dynamic funds that look for inexpensive stocks, will employ a growth style of picking investments that emphasize on earnings momentum. Both Power and Dynamic families of funds are currently under the umbrella of Dundee Mutual Funds, the newly named mutual fund unit of Dundee Bancorp. Dundee Mutual Funds Chairman Ned Goodman stated that the introduction of Power funds is part of the firm's aim to provide its clients with a complete package.

Mackenzie to launch seg funds with fee options
Article Abstract:
Mutual fund company Mackenzie Financial Corp. will lanch 38 segregate funds in summer of 1999. The company will offer two options with different fees for the insurance guarantees provided by Great-West Life Assurance Co. MacKenzie Financial's mutual funds do not provide for an optional reset of the guaranteed amount beyond an automatic reset feature that varies by the product.
