Article Abstract:
The changes in climate, increase or decrease in rainfall which might create problem in some regions is presented. In Australia the decline in rainfall in the east coast is due to the loss of winter rainfall and the prolongation of El Nino-like conditions where Sydney will have to face water crisis since the present supply of water can last up to two years and then they will have to look to alternative sources of water such as desalination plants.

Australia's water crisis has deepened to the point that two of the cities Sydney and Perth have mooted plan for huge desalination plants. Climate change is a global problem that can only be solved with international instruments.
