Experts see little prospect of rate raises until 2004

Industry analysts said that the Bank of Canada is not expected to increase interest rates until 2005. The analysts, who were speaking at a conference of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute, also said that the U.S. economy is not expected to recover soon.
