The stock value of Santa Clara, Calif.-based Palm Inc., which is the market leader in handheld devices, Handspring Inc., and Research in Motion Ltd. have been hurt by volatile market conditions. Palm, which is led by chief executive officer Carl Yankowski, lost almost half of its stock share value.

Futurelink sues ex-CEO over confidential data
