The former commander of UN troops in Bosnia-Herzegovina assesses the current situation and recommends solutions to Serb aggression. He believes the 2,000 UN troops sent to the region were inadequate to protect the Muslim safe havens and the UN failed to establish clear political and military goals.

The outrage of Bosnia: Serb conquests challenge the fragile credibility of the United Nations
Article Abstract:
Some 40,000 Bosnian Muslim refugees were expelled from the former United Nations safe haven of Srebrenica after the Bosnian Serb army took the city by force in July 1995. There were widespread reports of atrocities committed by the Serbs coincident with their ethnic cleansing of the town.
