Several research studies have found a link between alzheimer's disease and excessive levels of aluminum in the brain. A recent Australian study indicates that aluminum in drinking water may accumulate in the brain. Ottawa is considering enacting limits on aluminum in drinking water.

A new clue to breast cancer

Breast cancer researchers in Toronto have published a study that posits a link between breast tissue density and cancer. Women whose breasts are composed of a high ratio of fibrous material to fat and glandular cells are said to be at higher risk of contracting breast cancer.
