CDNX to audit brokerages before IPOs

The Canadian Venture Exchange, which is led by president Bill Hess, has announced a new policy of auditing brokerage firms that are involved in client companies' initial public offerings. The new policy, which is aimed at disciplining brokerages that fail to provide effective IPO services, will take about 18 months to complete.
