Reports suggest that the Chinese government is in talks to buy Calgary-based Husky Energy Inc. from Hong Kong tycoon Li Kashing through one of its state-owned energy companies. With Husky Energy Inc. in its control, China can cushion oil price hikes with rising profits at the Calgary based company.
