The insider trading trial of Calgary, Alb.-based Golden Rule Resources Ltd., which is led by president Glen Harper, has ended. The Ontario Securities Commission offered testimony that depicted Golden Rule as a greedy company that disregarded the best interests of investors.

OSC settlement shuts down A.C. MacPherson

The Ontario Securities Commission has reached a settlement with Toronto, Ont.-based A.C. MacPherson and Co. The deal, which calls for the securities dealer to close down, bans A.C. MacPherson's chief executive officer from the investment industry for fifteen years.
