Kodak changes focus to link its traditional, digital services
Article Abstract:
Eastman Kodak will unveil a $100-million plan called 'Simple is Smart' that would overhaul its packaging, services and products to bridge traditional film and digital services. The plan will reduce costs for Kodak, while increasing the sales of its premium films, as well as improve marketing for its digital services. Part of the plan calls for the phase out of its Kodak Gold line of photographic films, and new packaging that focuses on usage by lighting conditions rather than film speed.
