Canada's television broadcasting industry, whose representatives attended the annual meeting of the Canadian Cable Television Association, is examining the potential of digital television. Industry analysts said that the new technology poses many problems for broadcasters, such as Toronto, Ont.-based CTV Inc., including signing up customers and making a profit.
