BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., which is the investment unit of Bank of Montreal, has been implicated in numerous violations of securities exchange rules by a former BMO executive. The former vice-president filed a lawsuit for wrongful dismissal after he reported the trading problems and was fired.

Cinar in settlement negotiations
