Investors may choose to liquidate their assets during the economically uncertain times of the 1990s. The main question is to decide how best to transfer assets from stocks to cash. Investors should make sure they do not suffer capital gains tax liability. They should also make sure their assets are protected and offer reasonable returns. There are five options for investing in cash funds. An attractive option may be utilizing assets for payment of mortgages.
