Senior corporate management and investors who captured a disproportionate share of the national growth compared with the new lumpenproletariat of wage and salary earners have become the big winners in Australia in 2004. It is suggested that the next few years would hand down judgment if the profits boom were based on good management of the senior managers in delivering Australia of its miracle economy or good luck.
