Methamphetamine: Combating meth
Article Abstract:
A number of states in United States are passing laws to deal with the problem of methamphetamine addiction and the White House has initiated a 'meth action plan' and some employers and retailers are acting on their own to help solve the problem. The Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) has provided more than $350 million in grants to localities to help defray meth-related costs.

Methamphetamine: Unique qualities
Article Abstract:
Methamphetamine was first made in 1919 in Japan and became popular in the United States until the 1940s and by consuming it, users get intense rush immediately after smoking or injecting meth, followed by an extended high that can last up to 24 hours. Meth also stays in the body longer than cocaine and is common 'neurotoxin'.
