Monica on the stand
Article Abstract:
Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky appeared before the grand jury in Aug 1998 and testified about her relationship with President Bill Clinton. Under oath she reportedly contradicted Clinton's denials that the two did not engage in a sexual affair. David Kendall, Clinton's lawyer, is also preparing for the president's Aug 17 testimony. Many predict he is looking for evidence to discredit Lewinsky, but no one knows what events might take place before Clinton's testimony.
