Pine clones
Article Abstract:
Australia's Wollemi pine that grew during the age of dinosaurs was thought to be extinct, but its accidental discovery by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Officer and bushwalker David Noble, has further increased the interest in the Wollemi pine. Brisbane nursery operator Barbara McGeoch states that by marketing the wollemi, they are not only saving the tree from being extinct but are also making it a main species to raise awareness of conservation worldwide.

The battle for Kakadu
Article Abstract:
The differences between the tour associations and Kakadu managers over use of the world famous national park are reported. Constructive measures are needed that will reduce the environmental impact of concentrated visitations to few areas of the park.
