Plaintree shares find life in marriage with Targa

Wide area network telecommunications switches maker Plaintree Systems Inc of Stittsville, Ontario, has announced that it will merge with privately held Targa Group Inc of Nepean, Ontario. Targa designs and manufactures electronic equipment for the aerospace industry. Under the deal, Plaintree will acquire all of Targa's business divisions in exchange for Targa shareholders getting a 49% stake in Plaintree.
