Pricing 'flaw' prompts Standard Life suit
Article Abstract:
Standard Life Assurance Co., sued George Roy, employee of Ellis-Don Construction Co., for taking advantage of a flaw in the pricing mechanism of its investment funds. Roy countersued for damages to his reputation caused by the suit. Employees of the company who were similarly accused and laid off from the jobs have sued for wrongful dismissal.
