People magazine has made apologies for its inappropriate layout of ads next to New York City carnage. Pepsi will not advertise at all, making the decision day-by-day. Coke will start its Cal Ripkin ads which are thought to represent values which are appropriate in the aftermath of the September 11th disaster.
