Regulator quits over difference of opinion

The head of a coalition of Canada's securities regulatory bodies, Douglas Hyndman, has resigned. Mr. Hyndman, who had found it impossible to overcome differences between the securities commissions, has been replaced as chairman of the Canadian Securities Administration by Stephen Sibold.
