Rock backs graphic new cigarette warnings

The Canadian government has introduced new anti-smoking advertisements and rules. The Health Ministry will require that tobacco companies print new visual information on cigarette packages, which also may include a warning that smoking could lead to impotency.

Canada's health care ranked 30th by WHO

A new report from the World Health Organization ranks Canada's health care system as 30th among industrialized nations. The WHO report, which ranks France's health care system as first on the list of 191 countries, is called the World Health Report 2000.

Ottawa gets tough to save at-risk species
